HSEA Reporting and Systems Coordinator
Location: Barrow-in-Furness
2 year PAYE contract 4 days in office and 1 at home option.
JAB Recruitment is currently sourcing an experienced HSEA Reporting and Systems Coordinator on behalf of our client, a leading organisation operating within the energy sector.
This role will support the delivery of HSE reporting, assurance coordination and systems management across the business. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider HSE function to improve data quality, reporting capability, governance and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Collate and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual HSE reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Calculate, monitor and report leading and lagging HSE KPIs, including LTIF, TRIF and RIDDOR events.
- Manage workforce manhour forecasting, monthly collation and data verification.
- Provide HSE data analysis, trend reporting and thematic insights.
- Coordinate industry benchmarking submissions to OEUK and IOGP.
- Manage HSE event, audit, observation and COSHH systems, including user support and vendor liaison.
- Coordinate second-line assurance activity, including audit planning, site visits, documentation, findings and action tracking.
- Support third-line assurance requirements.
- Manage HSE-related SAP processes, including PR, PO and SES tracking.
- Support HSE action management, investigation reviews and close-out performance.
- Develop and improve reporting systems and Power BI dashboards.
- Coordinate legal and regulatory requirements processes.
- Maintain the emergency response rota for relevant incident management teams.
Candidate requirements
- General understanding of HSE management systems and processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and identify trends.
- Experience using systems such as SAP, HSE reporting platforms or audit management tools.
- Strong attention to detail and effective stakeholder-management skills.
- Confident working with reporting deadlines and multiple data sources.
- Minimum college-level education.
- NEBOSH qualification preferred.
- Energy-sector experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
